Here I have one more sewing project. :) I actually sewed this up around January, but never got around to blogging it.
Pattern: Simplicity 2593, View B
I was really happy how this pattern came together. It was easy to sew, and I love wearing the resulting top. The one mistake I made was to choose a "suiting" type fabric. It drapes nicely and looks pretty good, but it frays a lot! Fraying isn't necessarily a bad thing (especially if it's a great fabric), but it did add more time to making the shirt since I had to finish off rapidly deteriorating seam allowances!
I usually wear it underneath a cardi, like my Featherweight below:
I'll definitely sew this one again. It's a good fool-proof pattern, and for me (an ultra novice), that's a good thing!
