Star Ornaments

I found this Star Ornament Tutorial a while back during the Scrap Buster Contest at Sew Mama Sew . I thought it was adorable, so I immediately grabbed some scraps and started sewing one up.
After finishing my first, I cut out the pieces for about six or seven more. Yes, I got excited.

I finished two more and also have several in various stages of progress.



It was a fun project to sew, and a good way to use up small scraps as well as lone buttons.

One note if you decide to use the tutorial, it doesn't include a template for cutting out the star so you do have to make a diamond pattern on your own. The height of my diamond was about 2" and my finished star ended up measuring about 3".
