Cherry Tree Hill Supersock Merino (ignore the fuzzy photo, it's the colours that matter).
I think I've mentioned this yarn before. I still haven't found the perfect project for it yet. I started socks, but it seemed waay too luxurious to wear on the feet.
I just tried knitting into a basic feather and fan scarf, but I didn't like the way it looked at the larger gauge.
It was beautiful knit at 8sts per inch, so I might end up going back to socks. Or, I could use it as the contrasting colour for a colourwork project...hmm, decisions, decisions.
I'm definitely going to need to do a little more pattern hunting and swatching.
I'm thinking this would be great as a scarf/shawl type of thing, maybe a cowl...
Of course, I already have plenty of scarves/shawls/cowls for my own use, so Ill probably have to knit this into a gift.
In fact, technically I should have two gift knits on the needles right now, but needless to say, I don't.
Oh well, I'm sure I'll reach a decision eventually. If anyone has any great ideas/patterns that would work for approx 400yds of fingering weight handpainted yarn, definitely let me know!

I like this one but I'm not sure how your yarn would look in it.
I'm still fan of socks! They will be the socks to end all socks on your feet. And with the weather this cold your feet would approve. :)
